A RUA nasceu para aproximar informação, pessoas e território, conectando relatos e dados georreferenciados que ajudam a compreender a cidade de forma mais completa e contextualizada. Esta iniciativa reforça esse compromisso, ao focar-se em quem, muitas vezes fora dos holofotes, mantém viva a vida local: técnicos, moradores, voluntários, comerciantes e associações.
O que está série pretende mostrar?
A vida urbana é feita tanto pelo visível como pelo invisível. Muitas decisões a ações essenciais acontecem longe dos olhos do público. Através destas entrevistas, a RUA revela os processos e as pessoas que tornam possível o funcionamento das ruas, das festas e dos serviços locais.
Este trabalho permite criar um retrato mais detalhado e fundamentado da cidade, que serve tanto para informar como para fortalecer o sentido de comunidade e pertença.

Ao longo das próximas semanas, a RUA publicará as entrevistas em vídeo e texto no seu site e nas redes sociais. Cada testemunho será georreferenciado, inserido-se no mapa interativo da plataforma, o que possibilita uma leitura integrada entre história, espaço e contexto.

RUA is still on the march
In June and July, RUA continues its mission to give voice and visibility to local dynamics with a new series of interviews conducted directly in the neighborhoods. The aim is to better know who ensures the day-to-day running of communities, and how they do it.
RUA was born to bring information, people and place closer together, connecting information and georeferenced data to help us understand the city in a more complete and contextualized way. This initiative reinforces that commitment by focusing on those who, often out of the spotlight, keep local life alive: technicians, residents, volunteers, business owners and associations.
What does this series aim to show?
Urban life is made up of both the visible and the invisible. Many essential decisions and actions take place far from the public eye. Through these interviews, RUA reveals the processes and people who make it possible for the streets, festivals and local services to function.
This work makes it possible to create a more detailed and grounded portrait of the city, which serves both to inform and to strengthen the sense of community and belonging.
How can I follow this initiative?
Over the next few weeks, RUA will publish the video and text interviews on its website and social networks. Each testimony will be georeferenced and inserted into the platform’s interactive map, allowing for an integrated reading of history, space and context.
